Moody Air Force Base hosts Thunder Over South GA Air Show

I've always loved airshows since I was young. Moody Air Force Base doesn't do them particularly often (the last one was in 2012) so I knew I had to get out to the show this year. They had a lot of different events as well as the Thunderbirds.

Sadly I had to work the Saturday morning but I was able to catch the second half of the show. I had planned to go back on Sunday but the second day was cancelled due to rain.

Atlanta Botanical Garden and Bruce Munro: "Light" Exhibit

Been meaning to post these for a while but hadn't gotten around to it.

I was in Atlanta for July 4th and went to see the Bruce Munro: "Light" exhibit at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens with my parents. I didn't know what to expect, but it was fantastic!

Here are some images from the event - all taken with my Leica M9 and either 15mm f/4.5 Voigtlander Heliar or 50mm f/1.4 Nikkor Millennium lenses. First, some images before it got dark:

 

 

Here are images from the exhibit. I didn't have a tripod so this was sometimes difficult!

That's it for the photos! However, one last thing. I also shot some video with my GoPro. This was really hard due to the low light levels but I was able to get a bit of video and made a time-lapse video. Here it is:
