New Orleans, Summer 2016 - Part 5

One of the days I was in New Orleans I went to Crescent Park, which was a really nice area. It is kind of hidden northeast of the French Quarter and I saw almost no one there.

I took a few images around the area and especially of the railroad lines and a destroyed wharf. First some images from my Rolleiflex:

I encountered a nice man practicing a flag spinning routine in the park:

I also took some 4x5 images:

All of the above 4x5 images were taken handheld with my Travelwide 4x5 by Wanderlust along with a 90mm f/6.8 Rodenstock lens, on HP5+.

New Orleans, Summer 2016 - Part 4

One of the most exciting things I did in New Orleans, at least for me, was finally cross the Mississippi River to Algiers Point. I've traveled all around the East Coast, and even up to Canada twice, but I had never been "west" of the Mississippi. So we took the ferry across the river, which technically was east of New Orleans due to the bends in the river.

I actually took my 4x5 over there as well as my F2. I wanted to photograph the Crescent City Connection bridge, which was really cool to see underneath. Here are some of the photos:

Almost finished with my New Orleans photos!
