If you are reading this, I'll assume you are one of the few people who keep up with my blog. Thank you! It is always wonderful when I receive an email or comment telling me that someone out there liked my post or found the information helpful.
As I mentioned a while ago, this blog will be ending. This will be my last post here.
I have registered a new blog and will be posting there now due to this blog's focus becoming blurred since moving from south GA up to the foothills of the Appalachians. I will continue to blog and post images at this new blog but I am also currently thinking about just what I want to focus on. I am also considering retiring some features from this blog, such as my lens tags on the right side as I am not sure if that is helpful or not.
Anyway, it may take some time to really get back to shooting as much as I have in the past, but if you have made it this far and would like to bookmark this link or follow me, please do! Thank you for all your support.
See you at my new blog:

New Orleans, Summer 2016 - Part 5
One of the days I was in New Orleans I went to Crescent Park, which was a really nice area. It is kind of hidden northeast of the French Quarter and I saw almost no one there.
I took a few images around the area and especially of the railroad lines and a destroyed wharf. First some images from my Rolleiflex:
I encountered a nice man practicing a flag spinning routine in the park:
All of the above 4x5 images were taken handheld with my Travelwide 4x5 by Wanderlust along with a 90mm f/6.8 Rodenstock lens, on HP5+.

New Orleans, Summer 2016 - Part 4
One of the most exciting things I did in New Orleans, at least for me, was finally cross the Mississippi River to Algiers Point. I've traveled all around the East Coast, and even up to Canada twice, but I had never been "west" of the Mississippi. So we took the ferry across the river, which technically was east of New Orleans due to the bends in the river.
I actually took my 4x5 over there as well as my F2. I wanted to photograph the Crescent City Connection bridge, which was really cool to see underneath. Here are some of the photos:
Almost finished with my New Orleans photos!

New Orleans, Summer 2016 - Part 3
One of the highlights of the trip was finally visiting the Metairie Cemetery and also shooting some cool special-effects shots in the St. Louis Cathedral.
First, the cemetery:
Here are some of the 8mm f/2.8 circular fisheye images from the cemetery:
And finally, images from St. Louis, including some of my favorite circular fisheye images:
I love this last one and will be printing it in the darkroom.
One or two more posts about New Orleans soon!

New Orleans, Summer 2016 - Part 2
The next day I spent a lot of time at City Park and the Sculpture Garden:
I also spent more time in the French Quarter, wandering around with my Rolleiflex and Rolleicord:
The Rolleiflex was a fun way to shoot. Several people commented on the camera.
More photos next time!
